Full-stack Engineer

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (FULL-STACK)

Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC), a member of Vingroup, is looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, build and maintain the applications and systems behind its exhibitions, events, stadium operations and internal platforms, in a lean, AI-enabled IT team.
About the domain
VEC runs a large-scale exhibition and convention centre in Hanoi and is extending its operations to a new stadium and indoor arena. Our venues host B2B trade shows, international IP Shows (co-organised with global exhibition groups in sectors such as energy, industry, healthcare and education), conferences, concerts and sports events. Our in-house IT team builds the digital platforms behind two tracks, Exhibitions and Stadium, including:
· Exhibition & event platforms: venue and space booking, exhibitor and booth management, visitor registration, online portals for organisers and exhibitors.
· Ticketing & access: online ticket sales for concerts and sports events, QR/e-ticketing, payment integration and access control at gates.
· Customer & business systems: CRM, contract and service ordering for tenants, integration with ERP and finance systems.
· Venue operations: tools for on-site services, operations and Smart Building, with systems that must stay stable under sharp traffic peaks on event days.
You will also take over and extend systems handed over from other Vingroup units and vendors, working closely with the AI & Data Platform team.
A. Key responsibilities
Product development
· Work with PM/BA and business teams to analyse requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
· Design, develop (front-end and back-end) and test applications and systems as assigned.
· Write high-quality code that follows coding standards; take part in code reviews.
· Build and optimise APIs and integrations between internal systems and partner/vendor systems (payments, QR, e-ticketing and more).
Operations and improvement
· Take part in CI/CD, testing (unit and integration tests) and releases.
· Handle incidents, maintain and upgrade live systems; optimise performance during peak event periods.
· Use AI tools for coding, testing and documentation to boost productivity.
· Support and mentor junior team members; keep up with new technologies and propose improvements to processes and tools.
B. Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
· At least 3 years of full-stack software development (front-end and back-end); experience building booking, e-commerce or ticketing products is preferred.
· Proficient in at least one mainstream language (Java, .NET, [protected info], Python, PHP...) and its frameworks.
· Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and RESTful API design; payment/QR/ticketing integration is a plus.
· Comfortable with Git, CI/CD and software testing; skilled in using AI coding tools.
· Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices experience preferred; understanding of event, exhibition or stadium operations is an advantage.
· Strong logical thinking and independent problem-solving; proactive, responsible, a good team player and comfortable in a lean team.
