Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Analysis:
Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with business goals.
Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to identify product opportunities.
Prepare seasonal merchandising plans, including product selection, pricing, and promotions.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
Build strong relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms and collaborations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Analyze merchandising performance using key metrics (e.g., sales, profit margins, sell-through rates).
Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
