Furniture Quality Control (QC) Specialist - Vietnam

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Quality Control (QC) Specialist in Vietnam to support our U.S. furniture and cabinetry business.
The ideal candidate must have good spoken and written English and hands-on experience inspecting furniture, cabinets, vanities, chairs, tables, or other wood products.
Responsibilities
Visit furniture and cabinet factories in Vietnam for inspections.
Inspect development samples, production samples, and mass production.
Check products against drawings, specifications, approved samples, and customer requirements.
Inspect dimensions, construction, workmanship, color, finishing, fabric, foam, hardware, packaging, and labeling.
For cabinets, check plywood construction, doors, drawers, hinges, slides, hardware, assembly, and finishing.
Identify quality problems and work directly with factories on corrective actions.
Take clear photos and videos of inspection findings.
Prepare simple and detailed English QC reports.
Communicate directly with our U.S. team regarding quality issues and production status.
Follow up with factories to make sure problems are corrected before shipment.
Conduct pre-production, during-production, and final inspections when required.
Help monitor production schedules and report potential delays early.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of furniture or cabinetry QC experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of furniture construction and manufacturing.
Experience with wood furniture, upholstery, cabinets, vanities, or millwork is preferred.
Able to read technical drawings, measurements, specifications, and BOMs.
Good English communication skills - speaking, reading, and writing are very important.
Comfortable communicating with U.S. customers and management.
Detail-oriented and able to identify quality problems independently.
Able to negotiate and communicate firmly but professionally with factories.
Able to travel to factories throughout Vietnam when necessary.
Experience working with U.S. furniture importers, retailers, or international inspection companies is a plus.
Preferred BackgroundCandidates who previously worked in QC/QA for companies such as furniture manufacturers, cabinet factories, international furniture exporters, inspection companies, or U.S./European furniture buyers are strongly preferred.
LocationVietnam - preference for candidates located near major furniture manufacturing areas such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, or surrounding areas.
