Job Description
As a Merchandise Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Managing procurement and supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations.
Developing and implementing strategies to optimise merchandise management.
Collaborating with suppliers to maintain quality and timely delivery of goods.
Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring alignment with production requirements.
Analysing data to identify trends and improve efficiency in the supply chain.
Overseeing the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Providing leadership and guidance to the procurement and supply chain team.
The Successful Applicant A Successful Merchandise Manager Should Have
Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
Experience in managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
Knowledge of inventory management practices and tools.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
