ABOUT THE POSITION
The Global Engagement Specialist (Student Exchange Programs) is an integral member of the Global Engagement Department at VinUni. The Specialist is responsible for coordinating and enhancing inbound and outbound student exchange initiatives, supporting graduate study opportunities for VinUni students, promoting international programs, and strengthening engagement with global academic partners. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Specialist ensures seamless program delivery while creating meaningful international experiences for students. The Global Engagement Specialist will report to the Global Engagement Manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Inbound Student Exchange Program Coordination:
• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the inbound student programs (research internship, industry internship and short-term programs).
• Serve as the main point of contact for inbound students, faculty, staff, external stakeholders regarding academic, engagement, and administrative matters.
• Ensure all logistical elements are in place for events, workshops, and program activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and colleagues to deliver activities.
• Gather feedback from students to enhance the program and ensure a positive experience.
Outbound Student Exchange Program and Graduate Study Coordination:
• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the outbound student programs (short-term programs, faculty led or immersion programs) and graduate study support programs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for students, faculty, staff, external stakeholders regarding academic, engagement, and administrative matters for the short-term outbound programs.
• Ensure all logistical elements are in place for events, workshops, and program activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and colleagues to deliver activities.
• Gather feedback from students to enhance the program and ensure a positive experience.
Marketing and Communication for Global Exchange Programs:
• Support the development of content and marketing initiatives to promote global exchange programs.
• Manage and maintain the Global Exchange website and One-Stop Shop portal for inbound and outbound student mobility programs.
Support Global Engagement activities:
• Arrange meetings from partner institutions to VinUni.
• Develop and keep track of contact database related to student exchange programs.
• Assist with documentation, reporting and administrative tasks.
• Support other projects as assigned.
