Objectives of position:
The IT Asset Manager has an agnostic view across the IT assets of Company, the IT Asset Manager will ensure that software & hardware assets are inventoried and managed. The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring of software license and hardware assets to ensure compliance and follow industry best practices.
Essential functions:
Act as Lifecycle Owner of Software and Hardware Assets (day-to-day and strategic activities).
Software Licensing: lead and execute activities such as costs optimization, usage metrics, right sizing.
Hardware Assets: Management of hardware assets (datacenter and workplace related hardware) within the organization.
Support Vulnerability and Configuration Management Process: Assist in the configuration and vulnerability management process within the organization. Track and follow-up with technical teams on findings for underlying assets.
Manage system and websites certificates and domains (except technical implementation).
Whenever required contact with vendors or suppliers.
Act as deputy of IT Service Manager (day-to-day tasks, like major incident handling or tickets escalations).
