JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Google Analytics Technical Consultant to design, implement, and optimize digital analytics solutions. The role works closely with business, marketing, development, and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics implementations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to digital analytics and tracking.
- Design measurement frameworks and tracking strategies.
- Implement and configure Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Design and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers, tags, triggers, and variables.
- Define event naming conventions, parameters, conversions, and Data Layer specifications.
- Work with development teams to implement tracking requirements.
- Troubleshoot analytics implementation and data-quality issues.
- Conduct tracking audits and recommend improvements.
- Configure cross-domain tracking and campaign tracking where required.
- Support GA4 integration with other Google ecosystem products.
- Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and tracking specifications.
- Provide consultation to business and technical stakeholders and support UAT/production validation.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of experience in Digital Analytics, Web Analytics, or Technical Consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Strong experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Good understanding of Data Layer architecture and event-based tracking.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and browser Developer Tools.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical tracking specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written; able to discuss technical solutions with international stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with BigQuery and SQL.
- Experience with Looker Studio.
- Knowledge of Google Ads and Campaign Manager integration.
- Experience with server-side tagging.
- Understanding of Consent Mode and privacy regulations.
- Experience with e-commerce tracking.
- Google Analytics or Google Marketing Platform certifications are an advantage.
