About the role
Credit Line is one of the biggest growth bets at Salmon. The product has scaled fast, and we're looking for a Growth Manager to own how it scales next, where we place our bets and how a fragmented set of experiments turns into a real growth engine.
The next stage of that growth is the Philippine middle class. Winning that segment means moving the product up-market: better customers, higher limits, more spend, healthier repayment.
The role sits closer to acquisition, and the expertise we need leans toward marketing with a strong product interface. But you'll own the full funnel, from awareness alongside marketing, all the way to churn and retention inside the product. No dedicated engineering squad. Your job is to help the team build one clear, connected chain across marketing, acquisition, product, risk, and business, and be the key entry point everyone can come to when they need to align on growth.
You'll own the acquisition budget for Credit Line, report to the Head of Growth, and work closely with marketing, product, acquisition, design, risk and origination, affiliates, and web/SEO. No direct reports, but a lot of leverage. The bets you ship will move real numbers on a product that matters commercially.
What you'll do
Define and drive the growth strategy for Credit Line end-to-end with the business team. What we test, what we scale, what we kill.
Own the Credit Line acquisition budget and the call on where it goes.
Own the move into the middle class. Define who that customer is for us, where we reach them, and rebuild the acquisition mix around them.
Get into the heads of our users. Understand what they need, what they're afraid of, what makes them pick us over the bank card they already have. A higher bar than getting them to download another app.
Generate the experiments worth running, and be ready to get your hands dirty running them yourself, drag a new channel in, test it, ship the landing page, whatever the bet needs.
Use data and a clear read of every vertical to land on bets the team actually believes in. Run them across paid channels, landing pages, onboarding, activation, and retention with acquisition and product. Coordinate with marketing, design, origination, affiliate, and web/SEO when a campaign or promo needs to land across streams at once.
Dig into the metrics that matter for Credit Line: CAC, approval and activation, first transaction, limit utilization, spend per active, retention, reactivation, and LTV against the cost of risk. Find the real leverage, then design experiments that move those numbers.
Build a clean experiment tracking system so learnings compound across quarters instead of getting lost.
What makes you a strong fit
5+ years in growth, performance, or product marketing. Fintech, lending, cards, banking, or digital consumer services is a strong plus, not a must. Good growth thinking travels.
Self-starter who generates ideas without waiting for a brief and ships them. You can write the strategy and pick up a channel to test it yourself when that's what the bet needs. You energize the team, give honest feedback, and take it just as well.
Track record of tests that actually shipped and moved metrics.
Comfortable with product metrics and the tools behind them, CAC, LTV, activation, cohort retention in GA, AppsFlyer, Tableau, plus a working understanding of Meta, TikTok, and Google ads managers.
Hands-on with both qualitative and quantitative research. User interviews, large studies, segmentation, market signals, you work with all of them.
AI is part of your daily toolkit for prototypes, concepts, creative variants, analysis, cutting repetitive work. You treat it as a tool, not an oracle. You check the output, push back on weak ones, and trust your own thinking above whatever the model spits out.
Strong project management. You can keep five threads moving without dropping any, and the discipline to say no to the sixth.
Fluent English. Familiarity with the Philippine market and its middle class is a plus, not a requirement.
