Purchasing Management
Manage purchasing activities for assigned materials, products, or categories.
Review purchase requests, purchase orders and ensure purchasing activities are carried out according to company procedures.
Monitor order status, delivery schedules and supplier commitments.
Ensure materials are available on time to support production/business operations.
Handle purchasing issues related to delivery delays, shortages, quality problems and price changes.
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate and develop potential suppliers.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery conditions and other commercial terms.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, quality and delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues and improve performance.
Cost Control & Cost Reduction
Analyze purchasing prices and market trends.
Conduct price negotiations and benchmarking.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Identify opportunities for alternative suppliers, materials or purchasing methods.
Support annual cost reduction and procurement targets.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
