🔎 WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a
Material Planning Specialist
, you will play a key role in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support product development and production.
Your key responsibilities include:
Manage
material planning
from forecast, actual buy, leftover to liability, ensuring material availability and minimizing inventory risks.
Coordinate with
T1 factories and T2 material suppliers
to manage capacity, production readiness and delivery timelines.
Monitor supplier performance including
on-time delivery, quality, lead time and production risks
, and proactively drive solutions when issues arise.
Support
Trim & Packaging sourcing and supplier setup
across Asia, including supplier identification, quotation comparison and sourcing coordination.
Follow up material orders, shipment schedules and delivery status to ensure production timelines are not impacted.
Support
price and lead-time negotiation
with suppliers, especially for seasonal packaging materials.
Develop and maintain
material planning trackers, reports and dashboards
to improve visibility of material status and risks.
Work closely with
Supply Planning, Product Development, Sourcing, Production and suppliers
to ensure smooth execution throughout the product lifecycle.
🎯 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3-5 years of experience
in Material Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing or related functions.
Experience in
Apparel & Accessories
; experience with
Trim & Packaging
is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of
material planning, supplier coordination and production timelines
.
Experience working with
T1/T2 suppliers or garment factories
.
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills, especially around
MOQ, lead time, capacity and delivery
.
Strong
Excel / Google Sheets
skills; experience with
Power BI, Looker, PLM or other planning tools
is a plus.
Good command of
English
; Chinese is an advantage.
