JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a talented Junior PHP Backend Software Engineer who has broad skills of technical knowledge and is ready for interesting challenges. As being part of our team, you will work within several core micro-services to develop and iterate on features and functionality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop stable and high availability web services.
Build, iterate, test and fix bugs of features, products.
Maintain a robust codebase.
Keep learning the new technologies in the industry to improve system.
Keep configuration of core features up-to-date.
Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Required skills:
1+ years of PHP development experience.
Hands-on experience working with PHP frameworks Laravel, Slim.
Familiar with SOLID principles, design patterns, Domain Driven Design.
Experience working with queue system (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Experience working with cache system (Redis, Memcache).
Experience working with Nginx as proxy.
Experience working with container environment: docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes.
Experience working with Linux environment.
Experience with different databases. Relational (eg. PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (eg. MongoDB, ...).
Extensive REST API development experience.
Attention to detail and demonstrable design and UX sensibilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team player with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to have skills:
Ability to take product requirements and break down into concise technical requirements to execute on them.
Strong orientation towards data and use data to drive decisions.
Willingness to mentor and delegate work to promote growth on the team.
Worked with large-scale and high-traffic projects.
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD).
