Head of Coporate Compliance

The Head of Corporate Compliance is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry best practices. This position ensures that all operations, policies, and procedures align with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards, with a particular focus on the life insurance industry.
1/ Compliance Strategy & Leadership
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective compliance program in line with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
- Lead the Corporate Compliance team, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior across the organization.
2/ Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations affecting the life insurance industry, including reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Monitor changes in regulations and provide guidance on potential impact to internal stakeholders.
3/ Policies and Procedures Development
- Develop, review, and update compliance-related policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
- Communicate policy changes across departments and ensure that all employees understand their compliance responsibilities.
4/ Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks within the organization, particularly those unique to the life insurance sector.
- Coordinate with internal audit and risk management teams to ensure alignment on risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance risk register and update it regularly based on internal and external factors.
5/ Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish monitoring and auditing procedures to ensure effective implementation of compliance measures.
- Prepare and present periodic compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting compliance status, issues, and recommendations.
- Address compliance violations promptly and effectively, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
