To drive this vision, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Technology (AI & Engineering) to lead our tech strategy, scale our engineering culture, and infuse AI across both our internal processes and customer-facing products.

Role Overview:

As the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for:

• Defining and executing the AI and technology strategy for Compass.
• Driving the integration of AI and machine learning into our products to enhance decision-making, automation, and user experience.
• Improving engineering efficiency through AI-driven development tools, automation, and process optimization.
• Leading and scaling a world-class engineering and data science team.
• Ensuring alignment between product, engineering, and business objectives.
• Maintaining technical excellence while balancing speed, scalability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

AI & Engineering Strategy

• Architect the AI roadmap for Compass, ensuring AI-driven features are central to our product differentiation.
• Identify and implement AI tools to optimize engineering workflows (e.g., AI-powered testing, automated debugging, code completion).
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Technology Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Drive a high-performance engineering environment that delivers high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Own and evolve our tech stack, infrastructure, and development processes to support rapid iteration and growth.
• Implement best practices in AI ethics, data security, and compliance.

Product AI Integration

• Partner with Product and Data Science teams to embed AI-driven insights, automation, and personalization into TrueProfit and Kudosi.
• Spearhead the development of AI-powered financial forecasting, fraud detection, and customer engagement tools.
• Ensure AI features deliver measurable value to our users while being explainable and trustworthy.

Engineering Excellence & AI-Driven Efficiency

• Leverage AI-powered DevOps and infrastructure management to automate deployments, monitor performance, and optimize costs.
• Introduce AI-based code review, CI/CD optimizations, and software quality enhancements.

Continuously assess and refine engineering KPIs, ensuring a balance between speed and stability.

Who You Are:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record in scaling engineering teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, SaaS, or financial analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven product development and automation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
