FULL STACK DEVELOPER - JAVA FOCUSPosition: Full Stack Developer / Senior Java Developer
Working location: Hanoi - Onsite
Job DescriptionSETA International Vietnam is looking for a Full Stack Developer(at least 5 years experience) with strong Java Backend expertise to join IoT project.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale applications, microservices and distributed systems using Java/Spring Boot, while also being comfortable working with frontend technologies such as React and [protected info]
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
Participate in designing scalable, reliable and maintainable system architecture.
Develop and maintain web application components using JavaScript, React and [protected info] when required.
Implement system integrations using Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Work with databases such as SQL/Oracle, including database design, migration, optimization and troubleshooting.
Deploy and operate applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and CI/CD pipelines.
Work with cloud environments such as GCP and/or AWS.
Implement and maintain application security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, LDAP, SSL/TLS and secrets management.
Investigate complex production incidents, identify root causes and propose long-term solutions.
Understand the end-to-end system architecture and collaborate with different teams to resolve integration and performance issues.
Participate in modernization and migration of existing enterprise/legacy systems.
Take ownership of assigned components and ensure high-quality delivery.
Must-have RequirementsStrong Java Backend Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems.
Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications.
Solid knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and clean code principles.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, especially for complex production systems.
Integration & Messaging
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
Good understanding of Event-driven Architecture.
Experience integrating internal/external systems and APIs.
Full-stack Development
Good experience with JavaScript.
Practical experience with React.
Experience with [protected info] is preferred.
Ability to work across backend and frontend layers when necessary.
Java/Spring Boot backend expertise is the primary requirement for this position.
Cloud & DevOps
Hands-on experience with:
Kubernetes
Docker
Helm
CI/CD
Experience working with GCP and/or AWS.
Understanding of cloud-native application architecture.
Database
Strong experience with SQL and/or Oracle.

Experience with Elasticsearch.
Experience with monitoring/logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana or similar platforms.
Experience with enterprise or legacy Java technologies such as:
OSGi
Apache Karaf
Vaadin

ESB
Experience in IoT, Telecom, eSIM or eUICC platforms.
Experience with on-premise to cloud migration or large-scale system migration.
Experience optimizing application performance, scalability and cloud cost.
Experience maintaining legacy systems while contributing to modernization initiatives.
