RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and build scalable backend services for business reporting systems and internal operations tools
Design database schemas, write complex queries, and optimize performance for reporting databases and data warehouses
Implement caching, indexing, and data sync mechanisms to ensure fast query response and high system reliability
Monitor system health, fix bugs, and optimize backend performance across all internal tools
Review code, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers
Collaborate with Product Managers, Data teams, and internal business users to turn operational needs into technical solutions
REQUIREMENTS
At least 4-5+ years of backend development experience using Python, Golang, or [protected info] (Strong Mid-level to Senior)
Proficient in using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cline, etc.) to speed up development, debug, and solve daily technical problems
Strong experience with database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL), complex query optimization, and caching solutions (Redis / Memcached)
Solid foundation in System Design, RESTful APIs / gRPC, microservices, and asynchronous processing using message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying applications in Kubernetes (K8s) environments
Nice to have:
Experience in building or optimizing data and reporting systems (Data Warehouses, OLAP systems, and analytical query optimization for large datasets)
Hands-on experience integrating LLM/AI APIs into production systems (RAG, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, automated data processing with AI)
