Job Requirements

Overview:

The role of the HR Business Partner is to support the Asia Office across all HR-related matters, including performance, development, employee relations, compensation & benefits and talent acquisition.

In addition, this role will act as a Talent Acquisition Lead for the Chubb Life APAC region, assisting countries with their recruitment needs, running reports and analysis, and managing vendor arrangements.

Job Duties:

Asia Office

Be a trusted Business Partner who supports managers and employees on the full spectrum of HR matters.
Manage and lead the cyclical HR processes, including performance review, compensation review, talent assessment and headcount planning.
Provide HR advisory services to the functional managers and handle employee enquiries.
Own the on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including completing exit interviews.
Manage the end to end recruitment process and provide ongoing support to hiring managers throughout.
Work with the Talent & Development lead to develop engagement strategy through employee surveys, culture and leadership development that leads to high performance and retention of top talent.
Drive special projects initiatives and perform ad-hoc tasks to achieve the Company's objectives.

APAC

Build talent acquisition capability for the APAC region so that the resourcing and talent needs of the businesses are met innovatively and cost effectively.
Coordinate the recruitment needs of the APAC region and assist with the hiring approval process.
Assist Country HR Heads to promote the Chubb Life employment brand and career opportunities.
Leverage statistics/data dashboard to identify trends and to develop actionable insights.
Conduct regular reviews of third-party usage to ensure appropriate contractual arrangements are maintained.
Report on recruitment spend.
Manage, review and update (where required) job descriptions.
Drive and promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness from a talent acquisition perspective.

Work Experience

Requirements:

Previous experience in talent acquisition and generalist HR, preferably in insurance / financial services.
Business acumen, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
Execution oriented and highly organized.
Understanding of employment legislation.
Ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
A positive team player with good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills who performs well under pressure and is a collaborative relationship builder.
Capability of handling highly sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
