THE OPPORTUNITY
- HR Department at VinUniversity is looking for the entrepreneurial-minded Human Resources Manager who is passionate about HR career in a fast-changing international higher education environment.
- The HR Manager will manage of team of HRBP officer and report to the Director of Human Resources and will work as a business partner for all HR related matters including recruitment, learning, compensation and benefits, employee relations.... You will work closely with our leaders, to support them in various management situations, as well as develop and implement HR processes and policies whilst ensuring, the effective delivery of an excellent, customer-focused HR service to the Colleges.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Communicate and implement a range of HR initiatives relating to recruiting, compensation & benefits, staffing, goal/performance management, learning and development initiatives, talent management, internal communications etc.
- Identify where new or updated policies and processes are required and propose accordingly.
- Identify where new or updates systems are required and implement accordingly.
- Coordinate compensation and benefits processes for respective business units, provide ongoing HR support related to contract renewals, salary reviews, employee resignations, handling daily employee queries related to their contracts/labor law.
- Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters such as visa/ work permit/ licenses.
- Manage faculty and staff experience, handle employee relations issues, employee retention issues and propose solutions.
- HR reporting and administration.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Graduate from a prestige university in HRM, Business or related field.
- 07 years of HR experience or equivalent in a sophisticated diverse environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English.
- Critical competencies needed: Cultural sensitivity, Communication, Critical thinking, Achievement oriented, Adaptability, Digital literacy, Discipline and Resilience.
- Knowledge of labor code and work permit/visa for foreign employees is an advantage.
