HSE Technician (Kĩ Thuật Viên An Toàn Lao Động)

• Regulatory compliance: Supports HSE managers/specialists to ensure area of responsibility is compliant with HSE standards, regulations and guidelines. Preparing safety instructions and notices and assists with relevant training to shift employees.
• Risk management: Conducts HSE audits and workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and highlights corrective measures required.
• Operations: Supports implementation of HSE objectives, incident investigations and root cause analyses within the respective organization.
• Continuous improvement: Collects, analyses and reports on HSE performance, identifies problems and makes suggestions to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Communication and engagement: Collaborates with managers and employees in order to report on, raise awareness and gain commitment for HSE initiatives and performance.
• Co-ordinate with Production/Facility/RE in supervising HSE & Security in shift time.
• Reports/Shares HSE incidents within HE. Feeds back on lessons learned and best practice from own unit and across Hitachi Energy to management and employees.
• Implements Hitachi Energy HSE & Sustainability Operating System. Ensures area of responsibility is audited according to program for audit. Assists line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liability and how to fulfil their roles, according to local HSE law and Hitachi Energy Group policy, instructions and standards.
• Facilitates Safe Work Instruction, HSE risks assessment by line management involving shop floor employees, i.e. those directly concerned by the hazards, and ensures all processes are implemented.
• Ensures appropriate safety equipment and tools are available and used. Delivery training needed for shifts.
• Closely participate in Tier meeting with shopfloor.
• Disciplinary actions taken to Unsafe violation shortly to prevent incident.
• Emergency responses in case of Fire & Safety incident.
• Other tasks assigned by HSE management.
