[Huawei] DWDM Engineer

IP Engineers
to join our team and contribute to building robust network infrastructures with the requirements as follows:
I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE
Plan, deploy, and maintain DWDM, OTN, NMS transmission systems in core and metro networks.
Perform commissioning, integration, cut-over, and acceptance testing for DWDM equipment.
Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.
Troubleshoot transmission issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with operator for resolution.
Support capacity planning and migration projects to meet growing bandwidth demands.
Document network designs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IP Core/Metro, GPON) for end-to-end service delivery.
II. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Education Background Requirements: Bachelor or higher, major: Telecommunications technology, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with DWDM/OTN equipment (Huawei OSN 9800/8800/1800, etc. or similar).
Strong understanding of optical transmission technologies (DWDM, OTN, ROADM, EDFA, RAMAN, ASON, CDCF, coherent optics).
Experience with NMS platforms (Huawei U2000/NCE-T, etc.).
Able to communicate effectively in English both spoken and written
Family with Microsoft office, Excel, Power point
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and manage parallel time-critical tasks
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to Travel as needed
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
Huawei HCIP-Transmission or HCIE-Transmission.
Optical networking certifications (e.g., Ciena, Nokia).
