Import / Export Procurement Specialist

International Purchasing:
- Search for and evaluate international suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery terms in accordance with Incoterms.
- Prepare international purchasing contracts and manage delivery schedules.
International Logistics:
- Work directly with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents to arrange bookings and monitor and control the transportation process.
- Handle issues arising during transportation, such as vessel delays, damaged goods, schedule changes, and documentation discrepancies.
- Manage and check import and export documents, including invoices, packing lists, B/L, C/O, C/Q, ETC.
Export:
- Work closely with the Sales Department to understand sales plans and arrange shipping schedules with the most cost-effective options.
- Prepare export documentation.
- Monitor orders and coordinate with freight forwarders and Customs for customs clearance.
- Work closely with the Sales Department to monitor vessel schedules and provide updates to customers.
- Handle unexpected situations, such as changes in delivery locations and cargo-related incidents.
Cost and Schedule Management:
- Monitor and update purchasing price lists and logistics costs.
- Develop purchasing plans in line with production plans and inventory levels.
Compliance and Optimization:
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies, international trade regulations, and Vietnam's import and export regulations.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, including Accounting, Planning, Production, and Warehouse, to optimize the supply chain
ISO, FSSC, GRS, SMETA & HALAL compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable standards (ISO, FSSC, GRS, SMETA, HALAL, ETC.) to support a safe workplace and sustainable operations
