Import - Export Staff (Freight)

• Inbound Transportation (raw material to the plant)
- Participate in supplier selection (relocation) by providing freight-in costs for different suppliers' locations.
- Define material volumes delivered by each supplier and shipping period (each week, each 2 weeks, 2 x / week, ...). Selected shipping period must fill transport units at least 90%
- For North America, Europe, and Asia (except Vietnam) suppliers, define consolidation points (X-Docks), shipping ports and calculate cost impacts (Freight-In and X-Dock operations)
- For Vietnam suppliers, define routes (milk run, direct, dedicated, etc). Evaluate freight in costs.
- Calculate total freight-in costs for Ryker (by unit and annual forecast)
- Inland Freight Cost negotiation (in Vietnam)
- Support Global Freight team with data for ocean shipment contract negotiation.
• Outbound Transportation (vehicles to dealers)
- Define shipping routes from Vietnam to different countries (port of entry, storage places, transit time)
+ Vietnam to USA
+ Vietnam to Canada
+ Vietnam to 9 countries of Asia: ports of entry based on dealers' position.
+ Vietnam to Europe
- Calculate freight costs from Vietnam to dealers by region (North America, South America, Europe, Asia)
- Calculate total freight-out costs for Ryker (by unit and annual forecast)
• Customs
- Performing import transactions including completing registration procedures (sale contracts, declarations, Certificates of Origin, customs inspection, etc.); preparing documentation for import; coordinating the shipping and receiving of goods.
- Collaborating with procurement, production team and other relevant parties for ensuring material / components and equipment are delivered on time according to production plan.
- Conduct statistical activities and preparing reports on the import-export activities of the company.
- Managing, monitoring, and controlling import-export quotas, norm of materials in compliance with regulations.
