We are looking for a genuinely excellent Odoo specialist/developer to provide part-time, in-house support for our growing FMCG business.
We have tried outsourced Odoo support and, unfortunately, it has at times created more work than it has solved. We are therefore not looking for another consultancy or outsourced support company.
We want an experienced individual who really knows Odoo, can work independently, and is comfortable getting into the system and actually fixing things.
The role
1-2 days per week, approximately 4-8 hours per day
Based at our office in Cat Lai, HCMC
Odoo Community
Configure, troubleshoot and code where required
Help us improve how we use Odoo rather than simply telling us what we should do
Work across CRM, Sales, Inventory, Operations,
Accounting and Dashboards
Investigate existing problems and find practical solutions
Provide training to our team when requested
Listen to and understand our needs in English. Explain technical matters clearly in English, with the ability to explain or support the team in Vietnamese where needed
We are looking for someone who:
Is genuinely highly skilled in Odoo
Has strong technical/development ability, not just consultancy or user-level knowledge
Can configure and code independently
Is good at understanding how a business actually operates and making sensible technical decisions
Can communicate comfortably in English
Can explain things clearly in Vietnamese when needed
Is happy working with an existing system and solving real-world problems
Has good judgement and is willing to say when something is unnecessary rather than simply recommending more work
Experience in FMCG, distribution, inventory or sales operations would be a bonus.

Fee will depend on experience and capability. Please suggest.
