1. Job Overview
Mission :
• Support, identify, propose and challenge, for one or more areas of the activity, the success of progress intended to improve productivity (creation of added value) and operational efficiency, using the Michelin Way/Bib tools and/or the approach Lean on People - Profit - Planet domains.
• Empower and develop the autonomy of operational teams to steer continuous progress by supporting the change management.
2. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
2.1. Complete the sector diagnosis, exploit and prioritize potential progress, and build a study portfolio idea file to improve the productivity and operator efficiency.
2.2. Complete the optimization and rationalization studies on production posts, using the post methodology.
2.3. Use the appropriate methodology and tools (Process Diagnosis, Machine cycle optimization, activity and work method, ergonomic, flow, capacities....).
2.4. Engage operators, management and support groups in the preparation of proposal and implementation. Bring support in methodology
2.5. Support the IE Trainee (internship) in the initial project definition and throughout the study
2.6. Analyze and take in consideration in their studies the industrial good practices linked to the O&P metier and data from MDP/Benchmarks and recommended progress actions. Contribute by their studies to define new benchmarks
2.7. Define the work method reference (participate in the creation of MOS), time per units and post expectations as per the metier referential (REF_002_MMW) & (BP_C_07). Establish IE standards with benchmark data
2.8. Establish the IE basics steering and updates.
2.9. Define / calculate then validate with the customer (PSMT/Management) the resources and technical need (headcount, Process capacity.....)
2.10. Make an active contribution to metier and Business Networks.
2.11. Implement rules for measuring and monitoring activities / processes (TRO-REF_008_MMW / TRS-OAQ_10)
2.12. Define operating procedure and general organization in the sector.
2.13. Be a driving force in the definition of indicators SMQDC steered in the MDP framework. In particular for Cost and Delivery
2.14. Define proactive indicators (Hr/Hr) in relation with the MDP steering and defined standards
2.15. Participate to challenge the indicators in the MDP framework of the sector (regularly at N2 and periodically at N1 including monthly RPP support), per REF170
2.16. Facilitate problem solving sequences and bring methodological support to teams.
2.17. Analyze and take into consideration in their study the industrial good practices linked to the O&P Metier and data from MDP/Benchmarks, and recommend progress actions
2.18. Sustain in conjunction with management, the results of the studies.
2.19. Participate actively or facilitate based upon acquired competency the Bib events in his/her sector (in particular Flex, Boost, and Solv).
2.20. Recommend progress opportunities and contribute to sector activity and Progress plan development, participate in the objectives breakdown (DOPA,DOCA,MMW....).
2.21. Implement the actions to reach the established objectives (Study or competency development.
2.22. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
2.23. Having the authorities within the assigned function

- Education: Industrial System Engineering, Industrial Management
- Professional experience: Preference having experience (internship/working) in manufacturing environment
- Technical:
+ Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement
+ Solid tire manufacturing and Mixing manufacturing
- Skill:
+ Challenging with benchmark
+ Choose and apply performance improvement methods and tools
+ Apply the DMAIC approach
- Language: English ( verbal & Written ) / Advanced
