About the Role
We are looking for an Intern
IT Support Officer to support employees with workstation-related needs and ensure IT equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and tracked throughout its lifecycle. The role supports onboarding activities, provides first-line hardware support, coordinates repairs and replacements with vendors, and maintains accurate asset records for laptops, monitors, and other workplace technology.
Key Responsibilities
Support employee onboarding by coordinating account requests and preparing IT equipment.
Configure and prepare laptops and peripherals for new employees.
Provide first-line support for laptop and workstation issues, including performance, battery, and hardware-related problems.
Perform basic hardware maintenance and upgrades.
Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and replacements with external vendors.
Research and recommend workstation hardware specifications.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and manage equipment handovers and returns.
Support hardware inventory management and lifecycle tracking.
Your skills and experience
Final-year student or fresh graduate up to 1 year of experience in IT Support role.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
Good command of English, especially verbal.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Attention to detail in asset management and documentation.
Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
