Inventory Controller Associate Manager

1. JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic 3PL Operations and Inventory Control Lead to manage and optimize the performance of third-party logistics (3PL) partners. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations with our 3PL providers, overseeing inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely execution of tasks by the 3PL operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to drive performance improvements.
2. RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
* TASK
- Warehouse Operations Management: Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Inventory Control: Establish and enforce inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory records, minimize discrepancies, and prevent stockouts and overstock situations across all inventory pools (factory, platforms, warehouses)
- 3PL Management: Coordinate with 3PL to ensure timely delivery of inventory items, and address any issues related to stock irregularity for both outbound and inbound flows. Manage client/supplier relationships and communicate effectively to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Utilize data insights to optimize inventory turnover, reduce carrying costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in inventory management processes and implement solutions to streamline operations, improve accuracy, and reduce costs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to align inventory management activities with organizational goals and objectives.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
