Responsible for defining, developing, and managing products and digital capabilities throughout the product lifecycle. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, customers, operations, underwriting, claims, actuarial, compliance, and technology teams, the Product Owner ensures that products deliver customer value, achieve business objectives, and comply with regulatory requirements.
The role owns the product vision, roadmap, backlog prioritization, and successful delivery of enhancements and new insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor products and emerging innovations.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives related to insurance products and customer journeys.
Product Development & Management
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of products from concept to launch and enhancement.
- Gather and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders.
- Create and maintain a product backlog and define product priorities.
- Develop business cases for new products, features, and process improvements.
- Ensure products meet profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction targets.
Agile Product Ownership
- Serve as Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value and strategic goals.
- Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Accept completed work and ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
Stakeholder Management
