Test Planning and Strategy:
Collaborate with business users, product owners,
business analysts, development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
Create detailed test plans, outlining scope, approach, resources, and schedule for various testing phases.
Identify test scenarios and cases that cover functional, performance, security, and usability aspects.
Ensure the quality of the software before and after deployment.
Test Execution and Defect Management:
Execute test cases according to the defined test plans and document test results.
Identify, report, and track defects in a clear and structured manner using issue tracking tools.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with
developers, product managers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
Participate in regular project meetings to provide testing status updates and raise potential concerns.
Communicate effectively to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical team members.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze testing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Contribute to the refinement of QA best practices, standards, and methodologies.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.
