JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Objectives :
  • Create new products in Vietnam for GIT/SIC/Series and FIT that match the Easia Image/Values.
  • Provide training: Train Sales, Marketing, Operations, Guides, and BDMs on new products and updated products.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure product quality.
  • Update and improve current products based on the monthly report from the Quality follow-up team.
  • Work closely with the Contracting team to get reasonable hotel rates for Series/ GIT new products.
  • Arrange new products' inspection trips for Sales and Operations.
  • Prepare new products' fact sheets, program texts, and update the B2B back-end.
  • Set up a short-term and long-term action plan and report to the production manager.
Main tasks
  • Research, create, launch new products, update current products, and make sure that the products are ready for sales.
  • Research on the current products, analyze customers' needs, and trends of tourism products to improve the products that we have.
  • Research on competitors' websites and products
  • Work with the sales team to have a look at/be aware of our existing clients' preferences.
  • Develop new products in Japan based on Easia Travel's Philosophy
  • Develop thematic tour programs (family tours, honeymoon tours ...), multi-country, combination tours
  • Verify the selling price/ inspect and check the quality of new products (groups and series)
  • Provides sales with selling points for each new product, so sales can be more confident in selling the tours.
  • Work with BDMs on how to make the new products suitable for each segment, each market..
  • Provide training: Train Sales, Marketing, Operations, Guides, and BDMs on new products and updated products.s
  • Update products on the as well as B2B back-end, program texts.
  • Update and remove current products based on analysis and quality follow-up reports.
  • Prepare new product presentations with new ERP or new Cloud (Japan products): Making half-day, full-day tours, modules, packages based on current activities and new activities
  • Travel on inspection trips if needed.
  • Work with the marketing team to launch new products effectively.
Support sales :
  • Give sales advice when they have special requests or complex requests from clients.
  • Answering questions about sales of new products.
  • Support sales with tools for selling products more effectively (Training on the unique selling points of products).
  • Update program texts that are used.
  • Build standard modules on the new ERP that are ready for sales to use to help sales save time.
  • Initiate competitions between Sales to encourage selling or products more efficiently: The Sales who can sell the newest products will get a prize.
Work closely with Operations about tour itineraries :
  • Work with the Operations team to build and verify the logistics of tours, products, and programs
  • Suggest alternative tour options when needed
  • Work with tour guides and operations for the most suitable itinerary proposed to clients
  • Work closely with the Contracting team about the preferred hotels and restaurants lists
  • Suggest the contracting team update the preferred hotels and restaurants lists if the hotels and restaurants that we use get a lot of bad feedback from clients in the Quality follow-up reports.
  • Work closely with contracting teams to get the best rates for hotels for series, groups, FI.T
  • Support the marketing team with the B2B website
  • Update all the factsheets and provide pictures for new products, and send them to the marketing team to upload on the B2B website
  • Support the marketing team to update the B2B website
  • Translate some factsheets of hotels and restaurants from Japan into English if required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • University: Bachelor's or Master's in Hotel / Tourism / Foreign languages / Economy or other related fields
  • Fluent in Japanese and English language
  • At least one year of experience in Production in tourism industry, preferred in B2B inbound tours with EU market
  • Preferred candidates who are Japanese or Vietnamese who fluent in English, Japan and having at least one year experience in Production in the tourism industry
  • Creative, dynamic, and good knowledge about products and destinations in Japan
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, open-minded, customer service mindset
  • Good presentation skills
  • Willing to travel often (especially in low season)
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and work well in a team
