The Job

We are looking for a motivated Java Backend Intern to join our engineering team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in backend development, work with modern Java technologies, and collaborate with experienced software engineers in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications using Java.
• Support the implementation of backend features using Spring Boot and related Spring technologies.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting backend applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Learn and apply modern software development practices, including Git, Docker, and CI/CD.

Your Skills and Experience

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or other Spring Framework technologies is a plus.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Strong willingness to learn, good analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills, especially reading technical documentation.
