💳 WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Build and maintain backend services for a Payment Platform
Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs using Java & Spring Boot
Work on payment processing, reconciliation and reporting
Integrate with payment gateways such as MoMo, VNPAY, Stripe and other third-party services
Design and optimize database queries for transaction-heavy systems
Work with Redis for caching, session management and messaging patterns
Build and maintain microservices and asynchronous communication
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
Write unit & integration tests using JUnit / Mockito
Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Managers and Architects

At NewEra, we're actively adopting AI-assisted development as part of our engineering workflow.
You'll have the opportunity to work with tools such as Claude and Cursor for pair programming, code reviews, debugging, knowledge sharing and improving engineering efficiency.
🎯 WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✅ 4+ years of Backend Development experience with Java
✅ Strong proficiency in Java 11+ and Spring Boot
✅ Experience with Spring Reactive / Spring Data / R2DBC
✅ Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
✅ Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / MySQL & SQL optimization
✅ Understanding of API Security, Authentication & Authorization
✅ Good understanding of SOLID, Design Patterns & Clean Code
✅ Strong problem-solving skills
✅ Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
✅ Actively using or willing to adopt AI coding tools such as Claude / Cursor
⭐ NICE TO HAVE
Experience in Payment Systems / FinTech
Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, gRPC
Experience with Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
Kafka / RabbitMQ
