Job Description:
At ELSA, as a Test Engineer (TE), you will use proven testing practices to foster excellence in products and services and continuously improve software development efficiency on mobile, web, and backend platforms.
- Work closely with your Scrum team and stakeholders to understand user problems and contribute to various aspects of the solution to the problem including non-functional requirements
- Participate and contribute to Scrum events.
- Participate and contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions.
- Create automated integration and functional tests.
- Develop the test plan, test strategy and execute all test cases, performance tests, and report defects, define the severity and priority for each defect.
- Participate in the production bug troubleshooting process and advise the team on the priority and severity of the bugs.
- Establish release quality criteria and lead a quality tracking effort for the project.
- Ensure that all test-related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
- Participate in other activities to improve the quality and efficiency of your team.
Requirements:
- Having a growth mindset
- At least 2+ years of experience in automation testing
- Good at English communication
- Experience in Software Testing Life Cycle
- Having experience in automation testing for mobile is a plus
- Experience working with agile software development methodologies is a plus
- Having knowledge of Amplitude, Firebase Remote Configs, Crashlytics etc is a plus
