Innovation Supply Chain Analyst

The Innovation Supply Chain Analyst is a key role responsible for supporting global innovation initiatives from ideation to Go-To-Market. This individual will communicate details of all upcoming formula & packaging changes to the wider Global End to End Supply Chain Team, communicate global innovation progress, and provide updates to Divisional and E2E Leadership for internal and external manufactured products. This position requires elements of both a business role and a technical role, suiting someone with an inquisitive nature who enjoys problem solving and is able to practically apply data-based decision making to a real life business situation. You will need strong communication and project management skills to collaborate with project teams and drive the successful implementation of formula and packaging changes.

Key partners are Hill's North America and Global Supply Chain Organization, Regional Network Operations, Global & Regional Marketing, Science & Technology (S&T), Product Safety, Regulatory & Quality (PSRQ), Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L), and the Plant teams.

Innovation Implementation

Collaborates with Commercial and Technology Partners and major stakeholders in the implementation and rollout of global innovation initiatives.
Act as system gate-keeper for all upcoming formula & packaging changes in the North America Hill's plants
Participate and support the technology transfer process for new products and formula changes
Create compelling data visualizations to communicate results with impact and clarity

Communication and Visibility

Provides global innovation progress, updates, and KPI's to Global and Divisional Leadership and E2E leadership
Maintain appropriate communication with stakeholders including regular status reporting.
Identify performance improvement opportunities and effectively communicate findings.

Profitable Growth

Help identify paths to profitability for initiatives and lead the alignment process to implement them.

Supply Design for scale up

Participate in the creation of agile and profitable supply alternatives for global innovation scale up

Process Improvements

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements in the areas of data analysis, reporting, and communication

Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

Education/ Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other related technical field.
3 - 5 years of experience in Supply Chain (planning, sourcing, production, inventory and/or distribution).
A strong aptitude for project coordination and interest in systems, data and analytics.

Required Skills

Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and deliver multiple projects in parallel on time with excellent customer satisfaction
Possesses strong mathematical skills and is able to analyze large amounts of complex data to formulate conclusions and recommendations
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work in virtual teams
Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Leadership and capability to drive changes
Coordination and autonomy to keep track of Project's KPIs
Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides and Docs)

Preferred Skills

Working knowledge of higher level analytical and reporting tools (SmartSheets, Minitab, Google data studio, Tableau, Domo or similar)
Experience with databases and SQL language
Experience with visualization & analytics tools (Examples: Tableau, DOMO, Power BI, Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru & Data Guru, Alteryx)

Does this position supervise: No direct reports.
This individual reports to the Network Operations Manager.
Internally, the individual will partner with multiple functional areas, including Marketing & the Global Innovation Team (GGIT), Science & Technology (S&T), Product Safety, Regulatory & Quality (PSRQ), and Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L)

Travel Requirements
Expected percentage of travel: Up to 10%

Salary Range $88,800 - $131,250 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
