The Sr. Specialist, Quality Systems, Pet Nutrition Center (PNC) is responsible for the oversight of Quality Systems at the Pet Nutrition Center. This position ensures the PNC (a Global Technology Center or GTC) is aligned with the Colgate Quality Standards. More specifically, this involves ensuring comprehensive SOPs are developed and implemented at the Experimental Food Laboratory (EFL), the Analytical Laboratories and throughout the site to deliver the quality processes required by the Standards. This position will strongly support the PNC through audits and site inspections. These activities will be used to identify gaps, develop action plans and drive compliance. This position ensures the PNC site will be audit ready at any time.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement Quality programs and support development of PNC SOPs to ensure compliance to the Colgate Quality Standards, Quality Systems, adherence to cGMPs, external regulatory agencies, and inspection & certification bodies. Support audit readiness and inspection activities.
- With the S&T functional leaders, develop and update the site Quality Plan. Drive plan execution by the respective area managers.
- Participate in the Global Compliance Program, supporting Quality Standards Implementation follow up, participate in the auditing programs (internal self-assessment audits, corporate audits, FSMA readiness, etc.)
- Support the ingredient quality strategy by ensuring consistent and high quality of ingredients used in research and product development formulations are received according to Quality requirements.
- Actively participate in the company ESM program for the auditing of raw material suppliers, contract manufacturers, warehouses and co-packers.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Biology, Engineering or other related field
- 5+ years quality and/or food/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Comprehensive understanding of quality systems, food safety programs and cGMP compliance
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations
- 3+ years in Quality related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Masters of Food Science, Food Microbiology, Biology, or other related field
- Certification in PCQI, SQF Practitioner, BPCS
- Certified Auditor
- 10+ years quality and/or food/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
