Web Analytics Developer

Global Information Technology's Global Application and America's Marketing group invite applicants for a web analytics developer. This role will support our 1st party data strategy within our marketing group by generated, storing, reporting and analyzing web traffic for insights

Key Responsibilities:
- Support online externally facing web properties through analytics reporting

- Work closely with the web optimization team and business partners for analytics tag requirements gathering

- Partner with development teams to ensure analytics tagging and implementation standards are followed, including development of data layer strategies.

- Ensure consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website important metrics in various weekly and monthly Dashboard formats (page views, clicks, conversion, etc.)

Act as an internal specialist on GoogleTag Manager and Google Analytics capabilities and site tagging

- Assist with QA effort of all tagging throughout the site

- Implement/improve website tagging process

- Assist with analysis and reporting on efficiency of new site feature launches

- Provide input to process for continual improvements based on analytics data

- Prepare critical data for feedback to Creative, Planning, and Marketing teams to advise their respective business practices

- Support analysis and reporting on A/B testing efforts

- Handle ad hoc data requests from numerous partners

- Tackle issues with data cleanliness, data feeds, and other Google outputs

Basic Requiered Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of web analytics experience with digital marketing and application (customer-facing portals) environment

- 3+ years of experience working with web analytics process design, implementation and documentation management experience

- Experienced knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

- Fundamental knowledge of Google Campaign Manager.

- Confirmed experience implementing and leading tagging across an enterprise-level site

- Ability to discover, analyze and clearly communicate data insights for action

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 + years validated ability in web development with skills in JavaScript, HTML and JQuery

- 2 years experience of Javascript or Google Apps script experience

- 1-2 years SAS/SQL experience
