Role Description The Photo Editor (Colorist) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This position is responsible for color grading and enhancing photos to meet project and brand standards, ensuring consistent visual quality across all deliverables. Daily tasks include detailed photo retouching, image editing, and preparing files for print and digital use, collaborating with photographers and video editors to align the overall visual style.
The role also involves selecting and organizing images, maintaining an efficient asset library, and meeting production deadlines for real estate campaigns. The Photo Editor (Colorist) works closely with the creative and production teams to refine visual concepts and support the development of VR/AR-ready content.
Qualifications
Strong photo retouching and image editing skills, with a focus on color correction and visual consistency.
Experience in photo research and photography, including selecting appropriate images for specific campaigns or concepts.
Familiarity with video editing workflows and coordination with video teams for cohesive visual output.
Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro or similar tools).
Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with creative, production, and real estate stakeholders.
Relevant education or training in photography, visual arts, media production, or a related field is preferred; experience in real estate or architectural imagery is an advantage.
Requirements
Bachelor's or College degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
6 months - 1 year of experience as a Photo Editor, Image Retoucher, or in a similar role.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom or equivalent photo-editing software.
Strong aesthetic sense, particularly in color, lighting, composition, and image quality.
Detail-oriented, careful, responsible, and able to handle a high volume of images within deadlines.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve professional skills.
Portfolio is required and must demonstrate photo-editing and retouching skills.
Experience editing architectural, interior, or real estate photography.
Experience working with real estate, architecture, or interior design images.
Experience using AI tools for photo editing or image enhancement.
Good understanding of color grading and maintaining consistent color quality across images within the same project.
