Mechanical & Tooling Design
Design and develop tooling, fixtures, jigs, machine components, and mechanical solutions to support manufacturing and R&D activities.
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models in accordance with engineering standards.
Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and manufacturability assessments.
Optimize tooling designs to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Machining & Manufacturing Support
Collaborate closely with production, process, and supplier teams to ensure that tooling can be manufactured and maintained effectively.
Support troubleshooting of tooling-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Recommend design improvements based on manufacturing feedback and operational performance.
Project Support
Support engineering teams through all stages of product and tool development.
Manage engineering changes and maintain proper documentation control.
Work with external vendors and suppliers for tooling fabrication, modifications, and technical reviews.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to reduce tooling cost, lead time, and rework.
Support continuous improvement in initiatives related to productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
