Lab Technician - Physical (Footwear/Garment)

Receive and review testing orders, standard operating procedures, and instructions before conducting testing.
Perform tests in a professional and safe manner, ensuring that tests are carried out in accordance with testing orders, standard operating procedures, clients' instructions, and divisional quality procedures.
Keep the Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader informed on a daily basis or as required about the progress of testing and report any problems identified when performing tests.
Prepare accurate and detailed written test reports and submit them to the Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader for review.
Ensure that all data related to test results are properly recorded and tracked in appropriate files (hard copies or electronic files) for easy retrieval when requested.
Strictly follow operating procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and tools.
Ensure that equipment, tools, chemicals, and consumables are kept in good condition and stored in appropriate places. Immediately report to the Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader any incidents related to equipment, tools, chemicals, and consumables.
Keep testing samples properly stored and handled to avoid damage to samples or incorrect testing.
Perform other duties as requested by the Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader.
