Lead Engineer/Supervisor - Lungmeng Bag Making Machines

Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Vietnam and focuses on leading engineering and supervisory activities for Lungmeng bag making machines. Training will be given at our LongAn facility.
The Lead
Engineer/Supervisor oversees daily machine operations, coordinates production schedules, and ensures optimal performance, quality, and safety on the shop floor. This role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, planning and supervising maintenance, and implementing improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency. The position manages and trains technical staff, assigns tasks, and ensures compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
The Lead
Engineer/Supervisor also collaborates with management and other departments to meet production targets, support process optimization, and provide technical input on equipment upgrades and new installations.
Qualifications
Strong technical expertise in industrial machinery, preferably Lungmeng or similar bag making machines, including setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Experience supervising engineering or maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to coordinate workflows and mentor team members.
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems commonly used in automated production equipment.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, manuals, and specifications, and applying them to equipment installation and adjustment.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control practices, and continuous improvement methodologies in a factory setting.
Commitment to workplace safety, including familiarity with relevant safety standards and the ability to enforce safe operating procedures.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across operations, quality, and management teams.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Prior experience in plastics, packaging, or bag manufacturing industries is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site full time in Ba Ria-Vung Tau and support occasional overtime or shift adjustments as required by production needs.
