Lead technical planning and estimation, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and delivery timelines
Act as the primary point of contact for all iOS-related technical decisions and escalations
Hands-on Development:
Design, build and maintain the end-to-end implementations that protect user privacy and user's daily activities on digital platforms across the entire Apple ecosystem.

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Performance Optimization:
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the iOS applications.
Conduct research into Apple's privacy frameworks to ensure our solution is both effective and fully policy compliant.
Additional Responsibilities:

Apply modern iOS architecture patterns (Clean Architecture / modularization) to build scalable and maintainable protection modules.
Ensure thread safety and performance using Swift Concurrency (actors, Sendable, structured concurrency).
Integrate with backend-driven threat intelligence systems and continuously update on-device protection logic.
Implement observability, logging, and monitoring systems to track app performance and security effectiveness.
Contribute to automated testing strategies, including edge-case and security-related scenarios.
Mentor and coach other junior engineers, helping them grow their iOS skills.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
8+ years

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Swift Testing).
Experience with building large-scale, high-performance iOS applications
Experience with CI/CD, unit/UI testing, and performance profiling tools (e.g., Instruments, Xcode profiler).
Proven experience designing and implementing robust networking layers (REST, WebSockets, gRPC, GraphQL, etc.).
Good understanding of security best practices: SSL pinning, certificate management, secure data storage, authentication flows.
Familiarity with background networking, offline support, and data synchronization.
Experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving code quality through reviews and standards
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
Strong product sense and customer empathy.
Experience with map-based products and location-driven user experiences.
Good understanding of real-time GPS tracking, location accuracy, update frequency, battery impact, and poor-signal scenarios.
Understanding of subscription and freemium products
Strong understanding of privacy, consent, and location-sharing UX.
