We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect - Data to lead strategic data transformation initiatives, helping customers define future-state architectures and successfully execute complex data modernisation programs.
As a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect - Data, you will own the end-to-end data architecture for some of our most strategic customer engagements. Working closely with executive stakeholders, enterprise architects, delivery teams, and cloud specialists, you will assess existing data estates, define target-state architectures, and lead large-scale transformation initiatives with AWS as the primary cloud platform.
Key responsibilities:
Leading enterprise data architecture engagements from discovery and assessment through target-state design, roadmap development, and delivery governance.
Assessing legacy data platforms and defining practical modernization strategies across data warehouses, analytics environments, integration platforms, and reporting ecosystems.
Designing modern cloud-based data platforms leveraging AWS services and modern data architecture patterns including lakehouse, streaming, analytics, and AI capabilities.
Defining migration strategies that enable organizations to transition legacy workloads to cloud platforms while minimizing risk and business disruption.
Establishing data governance, data quality, metadata management, security, compliance, and master data management frameworks across hybrid environments.
Acting as the senior architecture authority during customer engagements, leading executive workshops, architecture reviews, technical governance activities, and presales initiatives.
Job Requirements
Extensive experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, or solution architecture roles, with a proven track record of leading large-scale data platform programs.
Deep hands-on knowledge of legacy data platforms and tech stacks, such as Teradata, Oracle, IBM DB2/Netezza, SAS, Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, and traditional on-premises data warehouse and ETL architectures.
Strong expertise in modern cloud-based data platforms, including lakehouse architectures, streaming/real-time data, and modern ELT patterns.
Very strong AWS expertise, with hands-on experience across the AWS data and analytics stack (S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lake Formation, Athena, Kinesis, DMS, SageMaker, QuickSight); AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Data Analytics/Data Engineer Specialty) are highly preferred; working knowledge of Azure and GCP data services is a plus.
Experience supporting presales and consulting engagements, including solution proposals, estimation, and architecture review boards.
Solid grounding in data modelling (dimensional, data vault, 3NF), data integration, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
