Mô tả công việc

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing classroom and program materials to ready the learning environment
- Leading small group activities and lessons
- Supporting curricular and student assessment
- Helping maintain an organized and pleasant learning environment
- Modeling patience, flexibility, kindness, responsibility, open mindedness, and a respect for others
- Supporting the homeroom teacher in home language in communication with parents, such as parent conferences, report writing, and Back-to-School Night
- Supervising duties such as recess and arrival/dismissal
- Ability to support virtual instruction, if needed
- Goal setting and debriefing weekly with the homeroom teacher about effective practices.
(For ECD 3&4 - assist young children with toileting and self care)

Yêu cầu

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum three (3) years experience in a school setting; preferably in an international school.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
- An appreciation and desire to work with all types of learners
- Comfortable in the use of technology including Google Suite, Zoom
- Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and professionalism to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Initiative and openness to receiving and giving feedback
- Strong desire to work with English learners and their families.
Desired specific Language related skills:
- Knowledge of second language acquisition and effective classroom practices to support the acquisition of language and content.
- Knowledge of curriculum and assessments and effective differentiation.
- Demonstrated ability to work with personal and confidential information.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
