We are at the turning point for Learning in Asia Pacific - there is a need to change the way we learn in the region and the way we organize ourselves in Learning to meet the demands in the evolution of our business and our people.
To live up to our ambitions on people development, dedicated resources is required at the market level to ensure the Chanel L&D vision is translated into a concrete and relevant action plan, prioritizing learning needs with local key stakeholders as to build future capabilities and leaders of tomorrow at pace. Importantly, the vision needs to be aligned to business, brand and people ambitions and to serve the Chanel difference.
The core focus of the Market Learning & Development Manager is to organize, deliver, and execute high quality learning programs and journeys for our people in the market with the primary focus around our non-retail workforce. The role will also be responsible for building an overall learning and development culture by creating meaningful learning experiences through the adoption of new age and blended learning methodologies. The incumbent will work in close partnership with the regional learning & development team and be responsible for the program management and coordination of company-wide regional and global learning programs and initiatives. The role will provide a holistic Chanel learning experience for all employees within the market while being at the forefront of integrating retail, leadership and office learning opportunities including topics on essential skills, sustainability etc.
The impact you can create at Chanel
Learning Strategy
• Formulate the annual learning plan of initiatives and programs addressing the learning needs of market employees covering the whole learning cycle from training need identification and analysis, program identification and delivery to program assessment & evaluation.
• Orchestrate and integrate overall learning plan between retail and non-retail learning programs and interventions to ensure a holistic picture for market employees and leaders.
• Identify opportunities of leadership development in the market and lead the deployment of these programs in close collaboration with Regional and Divisional.
• Ensure proper deployment of high quality of blended learning programs, both virtual and physical.
• Uplift and maintain quality of learning programs to enhance the learner experience and engagement.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget of the market learning & development initiatives.
• Keep abreast with latest external learning & development trend in the market (both the approaches & tools) to enhance the learning experience of our people.
• Ensure local customizations where needed while maintaining Global and Regional messages and core content.
• Share best practices with other markets and region where applicable.
Learning Operations
• Champion training delivery & logistic arrangement of local, regional and global program for the market.
• Actively engage with key stakeholders from both the local market and region teams to strive for a seamless and agile implementation of the learning program and initiatives for market.
• Partner with regional learning team to assess program experience and feedback from participants and facilitators of regional programs. Also, proactively provide recommendations for improvement and impact.
• Develop a comprehensive vendor selection process to ensure that the vendor of the best quality are identified to support the training need of the House.
• Acting as the sounding board to regional learning & development team based on training experiences and feedback from participants and internal facilitators for regional and global programs.
Learning Ecosystem
• Manage the internal LXP including creating and promoting learning communities, acquire views and manage engagement in the platform. Support deployment of all related initiatives
• Lead the launch of internal learning management platform for the market and support in any learning ecosystem related projects or enhancement initiatives.
• Review and analyze learning data through evaluation and provide reports including usage of online learning platforms (if any).
• Partner closely with the Divisional L&D communities to strive for the synergies on engagement efforts and upskilling initiatives.

Yêu cầu

What you can bring to the team...
• Concrete experience in managing corporate learning with good knowledge including training needs analysis, program development, evaluation, assessment, and development tools, etc.
• Proven track record in implementing learning programs and solutions.
• Good understanding of new and emerging training techniques and methods, and open to trying new things.
• Experience in Learning Management Systems.
• Demonstrate project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, close attention to detail, and work collaboratively with others.
• Good facilitation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills and confident to interact with business partners and senior leaders.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about helping people to learn and grow.
• A self-starter and able to work independently with strong accountability.
