Legal Counsel

YALP Games is a mobile game development company. We are establishing a presence in Ho Chi Minh City and looking for a Vietnamese lawyer to support us through the process.
Scope of work
- Advising on the corporate structure for a new Vietnamese entity, including the implications of different shareholding arrangements
- IRC / ERC procedures and liaison with the relevant authorities
- Advising on licensing requirements applicable to our activity
- Employment and contractor documentation for the initial team
- Reviewing commercial agreements with international counterparties
What we're looking for
- Vietnamese lawyer or legal consultant, 4+ years, with practical experience setting up foreign-invested companies
- Working English - written fluency is essential, as our documentation and internal communication are in English
- Able to give a clear recommendation, not only a list of options
- Vietnamese bar licence is a plus, not a requirement
Engagement format is open - we are equally happy to work with an individual consultant or a small firm, on a project basis.
