Mô tả công việc
• Represent clients before Vietnamese courts at all levels and in arbitration (VIAC and other institutions) in contractual disputes, shareholder and intra-corporate disputes, debt recovery, damages claims, real estate and other civil matters.
• Develop case strategy: assess strengths and exposure, advise on settlement options, and map the procedural route through to enforcement.
• Draft statements of claim, statements of defence, written submissions, petitions, appeals and cassation applications to the firm's standard.
• Collect, analyse and organise evidence; liaise with courts, procuracies, enforcement authorities and opposing counsel.
• Advise clients pre-dispute, including contract review from a litigation-risk perspective.
• Manage client relationships directly, including foreign clients - progress reporting, expectation management and commercial judgment.
• Supervise and quality-control the work of associates and paralegals on the team.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and comply with the firm's quality and client-service protocols.

Yêu cầu
Essential
• LL.B. or equivalent, together with a valid Vietnamese Lawyer's Practising Certificate and Bar Membership Card.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, with at least 3 years focused on commercial and civil disputes.
• Direct involvement in at least 20 court and/or arbitration matters as counsel of record for a party.
• Strong legal English, equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above; able to draft submissions and correspond with foreign clients in English without support.
• Rigorous written advocacy, sharp analytical and cross-examination instincts, and confidence before a bench or tribunal.
• Integrity, resilience under deadline pressure, and genuine ownership of case outcomes.
Preferred
• Arbitration experience (VIAC, SIAC) or matters with a foreign element.
• Experience with civil judgment enforcement and interim or injunctive relief.
• LL.M., or prior experience at a ranked firm (Legal 500, Chambers Asia-Pacific, Benchmark Litigation).
• Mandarin, Japanese or Korean is an advantage.
