HELVETAS is an independent development organization based in Switzerland affiliated with organizations in Germany and the United States. Helvetas has been active in Vietnam since 1994, working in various areas typically Agriculture, Bio-conservation, Forestry, Eco-Tourism, and Rural Economy.
Under the SWITCH-Asia programme of the European Union, HELVETAS and its local partner - the Community Development Center (CDC) - are implementing the Project "Circular Economy Cocoa: From Bean to Bar" with the main objective of developing circular economy solutions in cocoa and other agri-food sectors, leading to equitable economic growth decoupled from harmful environmental impacts.
This Project, 04-years-duration and funded by the European Union and HELVETAS, has been implemented since July 2022 in 06-07 cacao provinces in Central Highlands and Mekong Delta of Vietnam. The overall goal of the Project is to promote the circular economy practices in the agri-food sector and policies of Vietnam leading to equitable economic growth decoupled from harmful environmental impacts.
We are seeking a consultant (team) to provide technical support for Nhat Thong Daklak farm to develop and implement beef & goat feed meal solutions and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) systems using cocoa pods and other organic materials.
