Manager Risk Management

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Risk Management to join Maybank Vietnam. This role will support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Group's risk management frameworks, policies and methodologies while ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain risk management frameworks, policies and methodologies in line with Group and local regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk analysis, monitoring and reporting to support effective risk oversight.
Drive the implementation of Operational Risk Management tools, including RCSA, KRI and Incident Management & Data Collection (IMDC).
Monitor market and credit risk exposures and escalate significant issues or non-compliance.
Conduct Group, ad hoc and localised stress testing and recommend appropriate risk mitigation actions.
Support regulatory matters, risk governance, audits and corrective action monitoring.
Support initiatives relating to RWA optimisation, risk-based pricing, model validation and model development.
Collaborate closely with Head Office, business units, regulators and other stakeholders on risk initiatives and strategic projects.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Audit, Compliance, Treasury, Accountancy, Risk Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within Treasury or Risk Management.
Good understanding of banking risk management principles and risk governance frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies and risk exposures.
Good knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirements.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, data analysis and reconciliation, as well as PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications.
Able to manage multiple deliverables and regulatory timelines with minimal supervision.
Experience supporting regulatory and SBV reporting, risk governance committees, audits, reviews or risk-related projects would be an advantage.
