We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our agile team in delivering high-quality software in the banking/fintech domain. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive manual test cases for web, mobile, and API interfaces, ensuring that each release meets user expectations and business requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test cases and test plans.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories and UI/UX design to identify gaps and define testing scope.
• Perform functional, integration, exploratory, regression, and system testing.
• Conduct testing across platforms: web, mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs.
• Collaborate with
developers, BAs,
product owners, and other testers in Agile teams.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA or similar.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies such as grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide testing sign-offs and communicate risks, progress, and issues to Test Leads or PMs.
• Monitor and support quality gates by tracking testing metrics such as defect trends, test case pass rates, and escaped defects to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate and support UAT execution, including pilot runs and communication with business users or stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Automation Test team to align on test coverage, identify automation opportunities, and support test data preparation and test result analysis.
• Maintain testing documentation on Confluence or test management tools such as Testmo or similar.
