Job Summary
The Market Access and Public Affairs Manager is responsible for ensuring the company's products gain and maintain market access through strategic engagements with healthcare institutions, government bodies, and key stakeholders. This position also oversees the company's public affairs efforts to ensure alignment with regulatory guidelines and enhance its corporate reputation.
Responsibilities
1. Market Access
• Develop Comprehensive Market Access Plans: Create and execute strategic plans to ensure the company's products gain market access and are aligned with national healthcare priorities.
• Price and Reimbursement Strategy: Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of pricing and reimbursement dossiers to secure optimal price points and inclusion in reimbursement schemes.
• Healthcare Institution Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations to facilitate product acceptance and adoption.
• Market Intelligence and Trend Analysis: Conduct detailed market analyses, including competitive benchmarking, pricing trends, and forecasting, to identify opportunities for growth and challenges to overcome.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to align market access strategies with broader business objectives.
• Policy Advocacy: Advocate for favorable policies that support market access for the company's products, including participation in industry associations and working groups.
2. Public Affairs
• Government Relationship Management: Build and sustain professional relationships with the Ministry of Health, Department of Health, Social Insurance authorities, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Regularly track and analyze changes in healthcare policies, laws, and guidelines to anticipate regulatory shifts and adapt business strategies accordingly.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key contact for public sector stakeholders, ensuring their concerns are addressed and fostering mutual collaboration.
• Crisis Management: Represent the company in addressing public or governmental concerns, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate values.
• Policy Influence and Advocacy: Develop position papers and engage in discussions with policymakers to influence healthcare policies in favor of patient access to innovative therapies.
• Event Representation: Represent the company at high-level public forums, conferences, and industry summits to strengthen its image and advocacy efforts.
• Strategic Advisory Role: Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on emerging public affairs issues, regulatory changes, and their potential business impact.

Yêu cầu
1. Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's in Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health or Health Economics, or a related field.
2. Knowledge and Skills
• In-depth understanding of Vietnam's healthcare systems, regulatory frameworks, and market access processes.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, and listing mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of government relations and public affairs strategies, including stakeholder engagement.
3. Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in market access, public affairs, or healthcare policy, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Proven track record of successful interactions with government agencies, healthcare institutions, and other regulatory bodies.
4. Competencies
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute strategies to achieve market access and public affairs objectives.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating with regulatory authorities and partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Problem-solving: Analytical mindset to address challenges in a dynamic regulatory and market environment.
• Networking: Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Professional behavior with "can-do" and "open-mind" attitudes
5. Additional Requirements
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health or Health Economics, or a related field.
