The role:

We are looking for a Marketing Director who'll lead all our marketing activities from Brand management, performance marketing and content marketing projects for our B2B and B2C business.

Marketing Director's responsibilities include developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term department goals. If you're a skilled Marketing strategist, able to inspire your team members, we'd like to meet you.

About the Company:

ELSA (English Language Speech Assistant) is a startup founded in 2015 by Stanford alum Ms. Vu Van, and Dr. Xavier Anguera, a veteran in speech recognition and AI. ELSA's app, which is called ELSA Speak, listens to the way language learners pronounce words, sentences or conversations to pinpoint exact errors and provide real-time, accurate feedback on their pronunciation mistakes with specific suggestions on how to improve. What you'll be doing:

Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Brand management, Performance Marketing and content marketing for B2C and B2B business.
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department.
Set, monitor and report on team goals.
Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies
Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas
Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans
Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives

What you need:

Proficient track record with minimum 7-10 years in-depth experience in executing general marketing activities.
Strong creative skills, with excellent communication skills
Held a similar role in a technology company or at an agency servicing a technology company
Strong analytical skills and data driven
Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in marketing
Highly adaptable, collaborative, can learn quickly to come up with prompt solutions
Demonstrate leadership skills, high standards of work ethics, driven by quality & productivity
Have a positive can-do attitude, have a keen eye for detail, have initiative and be proactive going beyond the call of duty
Vietnamese with English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
