JOB ADVERTISEMENT: MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (M&E)
Work Location: Spain & Hungary
Number of Hires: 10 positions (5 per country)
1. Job Description:
We are seeking talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join our international projects in Spain and Hungary. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, calculation, and management of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical, specifically HVAC and Plumbing/Fire Fighting) systems within various construction projects.
2. Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design (M&E systems).
HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning):
Design of Chiller and Cooling Tower systems.
Selection of HVAC equipment.
Design of Air Conditioning systems.
Design of Duct systems.
Design of HVAC piping systems.
Design of Ventilation systems.
Plumbing Systems:
Design of Water Supply systems.
Water Tank selection.
Design of Drainage systems.
Fire Fighting Systems:
Ability to perform calculations for fire pumps.
Design of Sprinkler systems.
Design of Drencher systems.
Design of Hydrant systems.
Strong knowledge of international fire fighting regulations and standards.
Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Proficiency:
Skilled in quantity take-offs and calculations for BOQ preparation.
Shop Drawing & As-Built Drawing Ability:
Capable of producing Shop Drawings for fabrication and construction.
Proficient in preparing As-Built Drawings.
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing preparation, with specific ability to create duct orders for fabrication using AutoCAD.
